Reggae music in general has been a huge influence on the project as well as simple acoustic melodies and travel inspired writings. eastern philosophy, indigenous struggles, political injustice and international relief efforts all influence the writing in the bonfire realm. scotty stoughton started the project as a way to bring out some of the new down-tempo and acoustic reggae songs he had been creating over the past few years. the music is produced by dj 21 dread and further enhanced by the talented bonfire family.
