Captain Romantic

We would say we are talented, that we are well spoken, that we have a vision, that we love, live, and laugh like everyone else. We would also say that we cry and will die just like everyone else, and that is why we do what we do. Everybody lives, and everybody dies, but what we leave behind is what is important to us. Even if it is one annoying line of a song you get suck in your head years from now. Other times you listen to a song and you only need to hear it once, and it makes you cry and changes your perspective right there. Either way, whether it’s a catchy chorus, or a whole song and it’s words, we want to change your life, and make ours matter in doing so.

Compliments seem to go in one ear and out the other now days because they all are just weightless words that mask a hidden agenda. I think your gorgeous.. but only if we date or only if we have sex.. it’s just absurd. How do you really say the truth anymore and have it be heard above all the practiced lines? Our music is about the people you write songs about. The girls who just radiate. Those rare relationships that define you. Rarely do we meet someone that embodies a song we have yet to write. Sometimes we sit and think for hours trying to create words and music. We practice lines and rehearse chords until we manage to force a great song. But most of the time the extraordinary songs find us. We meet girls that come into our lives and sink under our skin without us ever having to even think of a tune.
