DJ Despise (aka Maggie Balas) has been a staple in the electronic music scene for quite some time. Known locally as the queen of brutality, her style ranges from Drum n Bass, Dubstep and Electro. From promoting to performing this true junglist has covered all spectrums, constantly pushing forward our perception of music. She launched RECON D&B Fridays which ran 5 years strong in Denver, CO. Bringing out and opening for such acts as Spor, Evol Intent, Phace, Counterstrike, Ewun, Cause 4 Concern, Limewax, and Raiden, just to name a few. Her hard-style darkness is like the most beautiful dream and the most horrible nightmare all at once. Keep an eye out for this one.
