Lazer Sword
Lazer Sword is a San Francisco-based live electronic act and production duo at the forefront of an emerging sound – a future music – fusing anything from rap, electro, dubstep, and grime to form a new kind of club experience. On stage, Lazer Sword is a hands-on affair, evolving further with every performance. Atypical of most DJ/producer sets, Lazer Sword performs the material to the audience as a highly improvised live production showcase. Tried and true dance music with a flare for the boom-bap.
Lazersword has built substantial buzz by way of their live shows and online presence, including a slew of free remixes and their recently released mixtapes Blap To The Future, an XLR8R podcast and an exclusive mix for Mary Anne Hobbs’ BBC Radio 1 show. They are currently finishing up remixes for Eliott Lipp, Machinedrum, STS9 and others. Look out for a forthcoming Lazer Sword release in late 2009 on Innovative Leisure.
