Matty G is a Dubstep music producer from California, USA. He is known for a hip-hop and reggae influenced style. Matty G’s been on the low down this year, but evidently it was time well spent. The dark side-infused ‘Watching You’ works wraith-like mentasms and classic jungle breaks into a superbly moody and atmospheric half-stepper with his trademark layered 808 subs, contrasting acutely with ‘The Realness’ a mellow G-Funked roller with sparkling gangsta-boogie keys.
