Dr. Dre meets Johnny Cash. A Sun Records feel with outlaw California country roots. Live shows include members of a band Rick Rubin signed to American Recordings (The Vacation). Collaborators have included the newest member of the Raconteurs (Mark Watrous), Johnny Cash’s bass player (Dave Roe), Dwight Yoakam’s band (Mitch Marine, Keith Gattis), Leonard Cohen’s current back up band (The Webb Sisters). Willie Chambers of the Chambers Brothers often sits in with us as well. My guitar player and I have played over 500 shows together over the last 10 years. The rest of the band has been on board for 4 years and 200+.
