The Ghosts of Company

Member Bio’s Dylan Burns: Born and raised in McAllen, TX, Dylan has played guitar since a young age. As a singer and co-frontman for the group, Dylan adds a dark, smoky quality to our music. Jonathan Romeo: Our other frontman and guitarist/cavaquinho/singer, Jon hails from somewhere in the Depths of New Jersey. When not writing, playing and singing for The Ghosts of Company, Jon can be found at the Lazy Dog rooting on his J-E-T-S, or working at the Boulder Public Library, warping people’s minds one at a time. Henry Dempsey: Bringing some international flavor to the band, as well as some sweet violin licks, Henry is originally from High Wycombe, United Kingdom, and now resides in Las Vegas. Henry has a very diverse playing style mixing gritty and hauntingly beautiful riffs within the same song. Henry also plays with a metal band when not playing with The Ghosts of Company, so check out his other music. Zack Burns: Younger brother of Dylan Burns and drummer/djembe/general rhythm section, Zack also comes from McAllen, TX. Zack has been in other bands, including The Moonshine Mile, originally from his hometown in Texas. When not playing with The Ghosts of Company, Zack plays rugby for the University of Colorado’s nationally ranked club team. Joseph Reiben: The elder statesman and bassist/pianist/backup vocals of the group, Joe started his musical career in his hometown of Huntington, NY. Classically trained from a young age on both instruments, Joe has performed many solo recitals on both instruments, as well as playing with many bands throughout high school and undergrad. Joe is currently back in school for music education at the University of Colorado after spending nearly 2 years as an attorney in Chicago. Band Bio: Formed in November 2009, this band has a folk/indie rock sound and a wide range of influences. Our songs range from the somber and introspective to the upbeat and folky. We come from a variety of musical backgrounds, and have a wide array of instruments used within our songs. Many of the themes running throughout our songs’ lyrics are drawn from real life experiences of our songwriters, Dylan Burns and Jon Romeo. Have a listen and enjoy!
