Clicks & Whistles
Clicks & Whistles
Despite the fact they're new on the scene, Clicks & Whistles are already showing that they're one of the most intriguing and exciting production duos in the US. Starting out as a long distance collaborative production project between Petey Evans,24, and Jorge Hernandez ,27, they've both taken up residence in Charlotte, NC to focus on crafting their defining sound and spreading it to eager fans acr
oss the globe. That unique sound is comprised of many genres, including but not limited to: Southern rap and hip hop, dubstep, UK garage and funky, and everything in between.
The Clicks & Whistles sound has been perking the ears of some of the US's highly regarded electronic producers and labels as well. Starting with their Radiator/Cranberry Goose EP on Atlanta's Embassy Recordings, 2011 and 2012 will see forthcoming releases on Tittsworth and Ayres T&A Records and Kingdom's Fade to Mind imprint. There will certainly be plenty more on the horizon for this talented young duo, as they continue to expose the world to the unique sound of Clicks & Whistles.
Hayden Kramer, known as HeRobust, is an Atlanta based producer that has been blending genres ever since he emerged onto the electronic music scene in early 2011. HeRobust's debut EP, Albumin, was released on Saturate Records in February of 2011 and was quickly recognized by industry leaders such as XLR8R, Mad Decent, Vice, and Jay Scarlet of Beat Dimensions. Soon after, heRobust found himself shared the stage with the likes of Flying Lotus, Daddy Kev, Gaslamp Killer, Salva, NiTGrit, Shlohmo, Shigeto and many more. February of 2012 marked Hayden's second release, the Late Night / Morning After double album.
Kendo of Two Fresh
Kendo of Two Fresh
Combining an array of influences and a diverse musical background, Two Fresh’s sound is difficult to describe but impossible to ignore. Built on a foundation of instrumental hip hop, their music seamlessly incorporates elements of sampling, a tight low end and catchy synth lines, with a strong beat always at the cornerstone.

On stage, audiences are treated to the addition of Colby Buckler, regard
ed as one of the strongest drummers in the live electronic music scene today. This energetic trio continues to bring exciting new performances to crowds across the country as their sound naturally evolves.

Before twin brothers Kendrick and Sherwyn Nicholls even turned 21, Two Fresh had already landed a label signing with 1320 Records on the merit of extensive successful touring across the east coast. Within a short few months, their first album “The Baker’s Dozen” was released to their devoted fan base.

Fast forward to 2011 and Two Fresh has already graced the lineups of multiple major US festivals including SXSW, Electric Daisy Carnival, Wakarusa, Starscape and North Coast. Alongside fellow producers Jables and Bookworm, Two Fresh established the Lab Coat beat collective in the musical hotbed of Asheville, NC. Together Two Fresh and Labcoat bring a new presentation and sound to electronic music in the Southeast region.
