Cotti
Cotti
Cotti Hailing From Brixton South London in an established Dubstep Producer & DJ aswell as Artist & Founder of the Sumting New Record Label & Publishing Company not to mention his original Dubstep Label "BassFace"(2007)

Cotti is without a doubt reguarded as part of the founding crew of Dubstep pioneers with his own unique sound of Reggae creatively fused with Grime/Garage to make his take on Dubstep, this young man is also single handedly dominating the vocal side of Dubstep.

Cotti has been involved in the Dubstep scene since the early days of when not many people had even heard of FWD or DMZ Dubstep nights & has therefor
had the oppertunity to play at both nights which gave him the platform he needed to get his music heard by the club scene & finally build a career from one of his life long passions "Music"

He initially met up with Loefah(DMZ) & Chef who then introduced, him & his partner at the time "ClueKid" to the rest of the pionerring Dubstep Producers within the ever expanding scene. It turns out that Loefah actually gave Cotti his second ever DJ set at DMZ in 2006, while Cotti had only been DJin for not more than 3 months but it seems that the DMZ crew were into thier music & felt they deserve a chance to prove themselves which they did.

Cotti quickly Cemented his name permenantly in the Dusbtep genre with Dj support from the likes of Skream, Benga, Caspa, Rusko, Joker, Dmz, Plastician, Hatcha, Ntype, Kode9, Pinch & the list goes on. It seems that his relationship with Dj Chef was workin well as it was Chef who always seemed to Drop a Cotti riddem a get everyones attention with Dubstep anthems such as "SensiDub"(2006), "The Lagacy"(2007), "I dnt Give a Dub"(2008) followed up with "CalmDown"(2008)
& "Rise da Temperature"(2009) both featuring the Grime Scenes Doctor.

Cotti has Tracks featuring on the "Box of Dub 2" & "Stepper Delight 2"
Albums both released one SoulJazz Record who are also owners of the famous Studio 1 publishing, aswell as a string of 12" dubstep vinyls. Cotti also had the "The Legacy" track featured on the massive Fabric Live cd which was mixed by Caspa & Rusko at the time in 2007.

Through out his musical career, begining in 2004, Cotti has worked with many Established UK artist & Producers such as.... Skream, Coki(DMZ), Skepta, Rolldeep, Goldielocks, Jammer, Newham Generals, Kromestar, Big Narstie(Dubsplate drama) not to mention Remixes for mainstream artist

BACKTRACK TO 2004

THE "GENERAL" AS HE WAS ALSO KNOWN BY HIS FELLLOW CREW MATES, FORMED 4N FORMAT(GRIME CREW) ALONG SIDE SLICKMAN, ASHMAN & MC ASHES IN 2004. 4N FORMAT STARTED OUT ON "ONTOP FM 95.50" WHERE THEY REALLY MADE A NAME FOR THEMSELVES IN THE SOUTH LONDON GRIME SCENE, THEN COTTI MANAGED TO LAND THEM A SET ON THE UNDERGRONUDS LEADING PIRATE "RINSE.FM 100.4" IN EARLY 2006 WHICH ALSO HAPPENS TO BE THE SAME STATION WHERE SKREAM, PLASTICIAN & KODE 9 ARE RESIDENTS DJ'S. FAST FORWARD TO 2009 AND COTTI HAS LEFT BEHIND HIS WEEKLY RADIO SHOW ON RINSE.FM SO NOW YOU CAN ONLY FIND COTTI PLAYING LIVE IN THE CLUB AND FESTIVALS BUT DO KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR GUEST RADIO SHOWS AS HE HAS DONE IN THE PAST ON THE LIKES OF RADIO1, KISS100, BBC1XTRA & MANY UNDERGROUND STATIONS.
