The Funky Meters
The Funky Meters
Formed during an informal jam during the 1989 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, Art Neville, George Porter Jr and Russel Batiste Jr founded what would be the core of the funky METERS. The history of this native New Orleans band dates back to 1967, when keyboardist Art Neville recruited George Porter, Jr., Joseph (Zigaboo) Modeliste and Leo Nocentelli to form The Meters. In their 31-year history, The Meters have grooved their way around the globe. They have toured with such talents as The Rolling Stones, and have been a studio band for such diverse artists as Dr. John, Paul McCartney, Robert Palmer, and Patti Labelle.

In 1994, the band was joined by guitarist Brian Stoltz and officially christened the Funky METERS. This lineup carried the funk torch until the spring of 2007 when Stoltz left to pursue his solo career and Ian Neville, the son of Meters founder Art Neville joined the line up taking over guitar duties. Growing up in the Neville house of music and touring with The Neville Brothers, as well Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk, Ian was poised to step in to help bring the band into the future.

The collective resume between the four artists in the band speaks volumes for the level of musicianship and creativity that comes alive when they play together on any stage. After three years of solid touring including dates at Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Jamcruise, The Fillmore Auditorium San Francisco, Fuji Rock Festival, The Hangout Festival and countless others, the funky METERS are stronger than ever. In fact, the funk is still going as strong today as it was 40 plus years ago.
The Quick & Easy Boys
The Quick & Easy Boys
The Quick & Easy Boys, a power-trio out of Portland, Oregon, create their own blend of rock and roll. Imagine the Minutemen, Band of Gypsies and the Police rolled into one.

Formed in 2005, The Quick & Easy Boys quickly made a name for themselves in Eugene, Oregon before heading north and building a Portland, OR fanbase. Their shows are an interactive party with electrifying stage antics and profound musical moments as the trio pours out every ounce of their energy, leaving nothing behind. The band has gained the reputation for moving a crowd all-night long whether it be a big festival or a tiny watering hole. The core members – - Jimmy Russell on guitar, Sean Badders on bass, and Michael Goetz on drums – - have continued to evolve musically…and audiences continue their enthusiastic calling of “Yeah Bud!” at every show.

In 2008, they released Bad Decisions With Good People which left people raving about their unique and vibrant sound, and in September of 2009, they sojourned out on their first United States tour. Three more national tours followed the release of their 2nd album Red Light Rabbit in 2010, and the band is gearing up to release and tour behind their upcoming album, Make It Easy in 2013. They’ve opened both locally and nationally for Deer Tick, The Meat Puppets, Blitzen Trapper, The Thermals, J. Roddy Walston and the Buisness, Wooden Birds, Orgone, The Pimps of Joytime, Juno What?!, Southern Culture on the Skids, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, The Bridge, Iglu & Hartly, Bob Wayne & the Outlaw Carnies, Vince Herman, and more.
Analog Son
Analog Son
Analog Son was created by Jordan Linit (Kinetix/Ableminds) and Josh Fairman (Kinetix) in 2013 around a studio project involving the Shady Horns, Ryan Zoidis and Eric Bloom (Lettuce/Soulive), Joe Tatton (New Mastersounds), Adam Deitch (Lettuce/Break Science), Mike Marlier, Joey Porter (Motet/Juno What?!), and Joel Scanlon. The debut album to be released this fall was recorded over the past 8 months at Scanhope Sound on the finest vintage equipment and tape machine available to fuse vintage tones with modern production and musicianship. Josh and Jordan called upon their funkiest friends to create music together on the spot in the studio that reflected all of the individuals at the session. They are already working on material for a follow up release.
