What are you talking about?
All of these feeds let you subscribe to content on Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom, so you can easily see what new shows are coming up and what we're thinking about music in general. You can also use these formats if you run a music-related website and would like to display upcoming shows at the venues automatically.
How do I read the RSS Feeds?There are a few different ways to read RSS feeds:
- If you use Firefox, click on the Live Bookmarks icon (it's on the bottom right of your browser window that and it looks like:
), then choose Subscribe to 'Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom Upcoming Shows'. If you want to add a feed manually, right-click on the button for the genre you want in the list above, select Copy Link or Copy Link Location (the wording varies among browsers), then click Bookmarks → Manage Bookmarks, and then click File → New Live Bookmark and paste in the link. - In a web-based RSS reader, like Bloglines, My Yahoo or Google Reader.
- In a dedicated RSS Reader. We recommend FeedDemon for Windows and NetNewsWire for the Mac.
We recommend using iTunes from Apple (you'll need at least version 5.2, so be sure to download an updated version if your copy of iTunes is older than that).
To subscribe to the podcast, right-click on the button for the genre you want in the list above, and select Copy Link or Copy Link Location (the wording varies among browsers). Then fire up iTunes, and click to Advanced → Subscribe to Podcast and paste in your link. Hit OK and you've just subscribed to the Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom podcast!
If you're a Mac user, just click on the icon next to the show above, click Subscribe, check the box next to Refresh and choose every day.
If you're a Windows user, check out Sunbird, brought to you by the makers of Firefox. Once you've got Sunbird running, right-click on the button for the genre you want in the list above, and select Copy Link or Copy Link Location (the wording varies among browsers). Open Sunbird, and choose File → Subscribe to Remote Calendar and paste in the link to the Remote Server URL: box and click OK.
