Kind Country
Kind Country
Kind music for kind people. Kind Country is a Minneapolis based band that plays American standards as well as their own brand of Cosmic American music. Since their formation in 2012, the band has focused on creating live performances with high levels of improvisation and energy gathering with a goal of creating a moment of musical bliss that can be shared by audience members and band alike.
Kind Country released their debut self titled album “Kind Country” in the fall of 2013. Since then they have been bringing their music on the road playing live performances at theaters, bars, auditoriums, festivals, and everywhere in between all throughout the United States.
Formed as a 4 piece string band (Guitar, Guitar, Mandolin, Bass) in 2012, Kind Country soon grew into a full 6 piece bluegrass band adding fiddle and banjo. A few lineup changes throughout the years have helped the band evolve into what it is today. In 2014 the band began to include drums in their lineup on occasion and now plays almost all of their performances with a drummer. This addition has helped KC achieve greater depths of exploration in music and opened doors allowing them to develop entirely new components of their sound. Kind Country also on occasion incorporates Keyboard and Saxophone into their live performances bringing the total number of musicians to 8.
In late 2015 the band released their second full length studio album “Hwy 7″ recorded at Neon Brown studios in Golden Valley MN.
Kind Country continues to perform frequently.

Acoustic Mining Company
Acoustic Mining Company
The music of Acoustic Mining Company is as familiar as an old friend, just as acoustic music should be.
The percussive mandolin style of Terry Martin and the melodic banjo work of Patrick Padgett interplay like overheard conversations, while classically trained members Chris Kolakowski, upright bass, and fiddler Joel Denman take the discussion into entirely unexpected directions. Two guitars and harmony voices complete a full, warm sound, provided by Jeff Ames and Steve Suh. Whether the band is offering up a traditional fiddle tune, covering a unique song or breaking ground with original ideas there is always an exciting relationship at work, joining disciplined musicianship with joyful acoustic mayhem.

There is a Colorado sound, a special something we all enjoy here that requires no name. From Boulder's Fox Theatre to the Crestone Music Festival, every musician can feel it, every listener can hear it. AMCo has developed and offered their own recognizable take on that sound for over 10 years, playing the venues, breweries, festivals and gatherings that connect us all to that Colorado experience. AMCo is simply in the right place, doing the right thing, making interesting, energetic and fun acoustic music.
