MC Chris
MC Chris
M.C. Chris is a rapper from Libertyville, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. He was one of the first
rappers to focus solely on nerd life, rapping about Star Wars, Harry Potter, ninjas and
unrequited love, instead of the usual hip hop fare. M.C. got his start as an animator on many
of the shows you’ve see on Adult Swim. He was writer, actor, songwriter and lead animator
for shows like Sealab 2021, The Brak Show, Space Ghost Coast to Coast and Aqua Teen
Hunger Force. He has voiced characters on several Adult Swim pilots such as Welcome to
Eltingville, Cheyenne Cinnamon, Your Pretty Face is Going to Hell and Tight Bros. He was
also a producer of on air content for over a year before leaving Williams Street to pursue a
career in music.
M.C. has since released seventeen albums and has crossed America countless times,
touring as a headliner as well as opening for bands like Pinback, Reggie and the Full Effect
and Ninja Sex Party. He's collaborated with Talib Kweli, Andrew WK, Cee-Lo, Childish
Gambino and Gwar. He’s performed at SXSW, PAX, Fun Fun Fest, Bamboozle, Warped
Tour, GwarBQ, The Gathering, Comicon, Dragoncon and countless others conventions. His
music has been featured in Kevin Smith’s “Zak and Miri Make a Porno," “Jay and Silent
Bob’s Super Groovy Cartoon Movie" and he has composed several themes for Smith’s
Smodcast podcast network. M.C.’s song “Hoodie Ninja" was featured in both a national
Honda commercial and America's Funniest Home Videos. Other songs have been featured
in Comedy Central’s “Broad City" and Fox's “So You Think You Can Dance?" M.C. most
recently guest starred on a punk compilation album dedicated to Dr. Demento and made a
cameo on Gwar’s latest album “The Blood of Gods.”
M.C. raises money to fight Cystic Fibrosis. Inspired by his nephew who has CF, mc chris
and his fans have raised over $165,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation through eBay
sales and donations collected at live shows.
M.C kickstarted “The M.C. Chris Cartoon" an animated extension of the skit universe
featured on his records. Thanks to donations from his fans, he raised over $60,000 and
produced a six minute pilot presentation with the animation company Titmouse Inc.
For the past two years, every album M.C. has released has charted in the top ten on
Billboard. A new album is scheduled to be release sometime in 2018. M.C. lives in Los
Angeles with his wife and three year old.
Bitforce
Bitforce
Classic cartoons, video games, movies, and anime, nothing is off limits for the musical stylings of Bitforce. These 8-bit warriors don light-up armor to use their music to go to war with a multiverse of villains, both well-known and original. San Antonio’s nerdy heroes bring their own flare to all the favorites from your childhood.
Originally started to be just a part-time recording project, Bitforce has evolved into a well-oiled, high-tuned, live music machine. They use their music to tell tales of their interdimensional adventures, often using visuals to add to the experience of the performance. Bright lights, slamming drums, and crowd participation are guaranteed when you catch these guys live. They have taken their music from the east to the west coasts, playing different comic, video game, and anime conventions. When they aren’t rocking cons, you can catch them joining forces with a multitude of performers throughout the Nerdcore genre. The most infamous being “MegaForce”: the combination of Bitforce fronted by the colossal king of nerdy raps, Mega Ran.
Joining the company of their EP, A New Force, their debut full-length album, Nerdcore and Beyond, will be dropping this summer. Join the fight to defend Earth from the evil forces of the multiverse. Lend them your voice! Lend them your strength! Join the Bitforce!

Tyler Kreigler works a day job as a super hero in the city of Cubicle Hell. Armed with a degree in Philosophy he spends his day doing absolutely nothing related to his field of study. However, by night (and some evenings) he becomes An Hobbes- emcee extraordinaire, cosmonaut, philosopher and all around nerdy everyman who makes love to your ears with his quick lipped rhymes. Hobbes cracked the music matrix over 10 years ago as part of the Lincoln, NE group The Awkwords with fellow emcee Toad the Newsense, DJ Trinidad and Andrew Eckerson. With The Awkwords, Hobbes was fortunate enough to perform with artists such as Del the Funky Homosapien, Aceyalone, Josh Martines, Awol One, 2Mex, MC Frontalot, Eyedea and Abilities, Blueprint and more. Hobbes has also toured with Vast Aire of Cannibal Ox and Sadistik, both inside and outside of the United States. In 2007 The Awkwords released their debut album "Left Speaker... Right Speaker...". The Awkwords are happy to announce their follow up album "Colorful Language" will be released fall of 2012. Somewhere along the way Hobbes met the love of his life, his wife, Anastasia. They enjoy spending their time reenacting scenes from the book, "50 Shades of Grey", because after one child they prefer her eggs to be scrambled and not fertilized. Their daughter, Nova Rhyme, is being raised as a geek prodigy. She can already identify more comic book characters, rappers and constellations at the tender age of two than the average seven year old. Hobbes moved from Lincoln, NE to Denver, CO in April of 2011 to level up his powers in the city of Cubicle Hell and to expand his music career. "Diaries of a Space Cadet" is his first solo release which chronicles the adventures and romance of an Earthing who unexpectedly finds himself in the far reaches of space and, by no real action of his own, becomes captain of a space vessel. The album features production by K. Murdock, Count Bass D, Sassoon, Whatshisface, Sam Morris, Merchant of Death, and Andrew Eckerson. Guest emcees include Toad the Newsense (of the Awkwords), Barlow, and Robin Samples.
