"Anne Cann! Healing Cancer through Cannabis and Community"
Music by Hardscrabble and Andrew McConathy and Friends from Drunken Hearts
Proceeds from this event will go directly to our dear friend Anne Havens. Anne is battling stage 4 Breast Cancer and has recently started a guided cannabis treatment to kill the Cancer in her body. The TreatmentX patient initiative Anne is participating in is very expensive and not covered by insurance. Her life is at stake. There will be a plethora of amazing silent auction items as well as speakers from TreatmentX working to accelerate cannabis research. Please consider the higher "Friends and Family" ticket level to support Anne in the best way possible. You may also donate directly if you cannot attend the event in person.https://www.cervantesmasterpiece.com/event/1703009/
"We’ve been influenced by music from a variety of different genres, and that’s evident in our show. We try to have fun up there and keep the audience engaged. You’ll hear us play our own songs, as well as traditional bluegrass anthems by Jimmy Martin, Bill Monroe and Flatt & Scruggs, mixed with ‘newgrass’ favorites by artists like The Steeldrivers and Yonder Mountain String Band, and covers by The Rolling Stones and Marshall Tucker Band."
Formed in 2009, this four-piece group consists of Jena Skinner on lead vocals and mandolin; Robby Brown on lead guitar and vocals, Eric Lovgren on banjo and vocals, and Scott Loss on bass and vocals. Hardscrabble has a rich and lively sound showcasing every instrument and the rafter-shaking voice of singer Jena Skinner. Hardscrabble has shared the stage with some of the biggest acts in bluegrass music including Peter Rowan, The Steep Canyon Rangers, Horseshoes and Hand Grenades, Cornmeal, Great American Taxi and Fruition. Hardscrabble has been featured at festivals like Yarmony Grass, Camp Out for the Cause, Ullrgrass and the Winter Wonder Grass Festival.
