KBong
KBong
Kevin Bong, aka ‘KBONG’ is a multi-instrumental artist who is well known for his “key” role in reggae band Stick Figure. Touring with the group since 2012, KBong has solidified his place as one of the top keyboard players in today’s current Reggae scene. Kbong’s first studio album ‘Hopes and Dreams’ released in 2014 which features him as the prominent song writer. The summer anthem “Livin Easy” features Scott Woodruff and the rest of Stick Figure. Other collaborations on the album include singer/songwriter Hirie, producer Johnny Cosmic and producer Alific. You’ll hear a mix up of tasty musical ingredients that include ska, reggae, beachy surf vibes and catchy acoustic guitar riffs. Once you hear his style you will be hooked because it’s fresh and pleasing to the ears. Look out for his second solo album “Easy To Love You” releasing in 2018.
Kash'd Out
Kash'd Out
Straight out of Orlando, FL, Kash'd Out hits the Reggae/Rock scene with plenty of experience. The band was formed by guitarist Jackson Hauserman and producers Greg Shields & Josh Saldate of Sound Lounge Studios, where bands such as Ballyhoo!, Tribal Seeds and many more have recorded. Once the self-titled debut EP was complete, they recruited Joey Brohawn on Bass and Marshall Hearne on drums, and Nick Gudzan on Keys. Fresh off back to back national tours supporting headliners Pepper + Less Than Jake and Pacific Dub respectively, Kash'd Out released their first full-length album 5/26/17 entitled "The Hookup" via LAW Records. The record reached #2 on both the Billboard and iTunes Reggae Charts and the band plans to continue touring to support the release.
Red Sage
Red Sage
Red Sage is made up of a collective of musicians from different backgrounds in Colorado's thriving music scene. The group was founded by vocalist/keyboard player Jordan Armijo (Liberation) out of Pueblo, CO). Add into the mix the sweet guitar licks and soothing vocals of Colorado Springs' local superstar Nick Pauly (OffBeat Revolution) , the smooth lines from bassist James Normandin (Inna Di Red) and the semi-traditional, jazz-influenced drum rhythms of Drew Stiles (CollieRad) and you get a unique blend of reggae music with a blues and soul influence that is reminiscent of roots reggae as well as hints of Latin influenced beats. The group is hard at work writing and reforming the sound into a well rounded and more focused groove. The music is inspired by true life events and current events in the world as well as a will to grow and spread some love throughout the darkest corners of the world. The band is known to fuse some different styles into traditional reggae for an experience that will get you moving!
