Kyle Hollingsworth Band
Kyle Hollingsworth Band
Thirty years ago, Kyle Hollingsworth set out on a career in music. With a wealth of desire and an abundance of ability, Hollingsworth has established himself as a formidable and versatile music talent deftly able to contribute, collaborate, compose, and communicate on a number of levels and within a vast spectrum of musical environments. Today, as a member of acclaimed jam masters The String Cheese Incident, Hollingsworth is revered by both peers and fans for his ability to write and perform in a mosaic of styles, from rock to classical, ragtime to bebop. Playing in SCI has allowed him unrestricted access to the world of music, and has bestowed on him the kind of fearlessness a composer needs to flirt with such disparate genres. Those who’ve seen SCI know that they can jerk from funk to bluegrass on a chord change. “In the jam world, where there are no set ways of doing things, we’re not afraid to move in and out of genres,” he says, “and because of that I’ve learned to be creative, not only onstage but in the studio. I can get on board with something pretty quickly. You have to.”

His most recent release, titled Then There’s Now, finds the musician coming in to his own. With solid song material and a slamming new band, Kyle is making his mark in the new, always-evolving music scene. Then There’s Now delivers a blend of vocal and instrumental tunes and seamlessly displays his growth as a musician and as a songwriter.
Exmag
Exmag
Exmag is for the people!

"It is undeniable that these guys have modern hip-hop originality with the smooth, timeless style of jazz. From their street style to their verging-on Minnesota niceness, there is nothing less than real about these fellas. Always about the music, always about creating, the most attractive part about them ... is their obvious authenticity and raw artistry. Keeping their genuine interests as first priority ... the guys continue creating as a whole culture builds itself around the products of their imaginations."

-EDMChicago

While Exmag and Kanye West come from vastly different genres and career stages, they are making parallel moves in live entertainment by turning the concert’s traditional role in album marketing on its head.

- Forbes

From the sultry vibes of “Go Up” to the funky beats of “Not The Last Time,” the listener goes from hip swivels to full body oscillations. Featuring only instrumentals on this track, Exmag exhibits their love of funk and soul as well as their skill in creating it. Thick and encompassing, “Not The Last Time” is as familiar as it is unique, reaching across genres and audiences. Their playful and uplifting sound can easily enliven any dancefloor, from the sticky floors of a night club to the dusty ground of a music festival.

-Huffington Post, Morena Duwe

"Containing all the right elements of funk, soul, blues, R&B, and electronica, this evergrowing contingent of artists is not just another EDM group, but a production collective who explore new means of pushing the limits by combining live instruments and vocalists with their own synthesized beats."

Casual Commander
Casual Commander
Casual Commander is a nu-disco, downtempo and glitch project based in Denver, CO created by guitarist Kevin Donohue, of SunSquabi.
Nobide
Nobide
Nobide is the musical project of up-and-coming producer Nick Vann. Born in Boulder, Colorado, Nick was exposed to and nurtured by a dense and diverse musical scene. The innovations he witnessed growing up gave way to a deep respect for the artistic process and the beauty brought about by live musical production. Now, after 21 years of being part of the crowd, Nick is taking his place within the very scene he was raised.
By incorporating traditional instruments and modern production, Nobide works to fuse jam-band with bangin’ beats, jazz with electronica, and funk with psychedelia, all to foster a genre of his very own, which Vann likes to call “Psychedelic Breakbeats.” Nick’s aim is to refresh and redefine the standard producer archetypes that have come to be accepted in the scene today, and turn his focus to stretching the boundaries of live improvisation, audience participation, and spontaneous musical creation.
