The Funky Knuckles
The Funky Knuckles
“We’re The Funky Knuckles. We play music. We don’t suck.” This GroundUp recording artist is the inevitable result of the talent-soaked Dallas soul and jazz community, The Funky Knuckles is comprised of sidemen from some of the most respected acts in the music industry (Beyonce, Erykah Badu, Chrisette Michelle, Talib Kweli, P. Diddy, The Polyphonic Spree, etc.), yet possesses a sound distinctly separate from any of their individual projects. Always stretching the boundaries of improvisation and composition, they draw from each member’s musical experiences to create their unique genre-bending sound.
Grateful Bluegrass Boys
Grateful Bluegrass Boys
Aaron Redner (fiddle, mandolin, vocal), Isaac Cantor (banjo), Sean Lehe (guitar, vocal), and Scotty Brown (bass) are members of the group.

Their primary mission is to get the audience singing and dancing along to beloved songs one might...or might not expect from a string band. Their first CD includes songs by Paul Simon, Willie Nelson, Led Zeppelin, Johnny Nash, The Eagles, and the Grateful Dead.

While the name of the band references the Grateful Dead, gratitude is at the core of the band. They feel incredibly fortunate to play music for people all over the country and keep their set lists fresh and diverse. Recent shows include music by Ray Charles, Dire Straits, Neil Young, the Cars and more!

The band also has a healthy respect for traditional Bluegrass and one can expect fiddle tunes and raucous Bluegrass songs.

The band fits in perfectly at Bluegrass Festivals, Jam Band festivals, and art centers and have appeal to a wide spectrum of ages.

They have shared the stage with Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Lukas Nelson, Bill Nershi, and many more incredible musicians.
ManyColors
ManyColors
Manycolors is a new four-piece band that opens up new musical space by using a hip-hop format to explore chords and motifs usually reserved for jazz.
