Jay Cobb Anderson Band
Jay Cobb Anderson Band
years ago, with only a $100 to his name and no place to stay, Jay Cobb Anderson packed his bags, grabbed his guitars and left the small pond of Idaho for the waters of Portland, Oregon. It was here that he became a founding member of the groups Fruition, the Bellyboys and Rose City Thorns (formerly known as the Villains). These groups would go on to pack local venues, successfully tour west of the Mississippi, and release fan adored albums. As a prominent songwriter for all three bands, Anderson has woven his musical stylings from the “along the riverbed” folk tunes to the heartland Americana ballads to the loud, grimy rock and roll ragers.

Even with the assortment of musical outlets Jay Cobb had at his disposal, he still managed to write 100 plus songs that did not fit with the sounds of his other groups. After 2.5 years of whittling these 100 songs, the best 12 were selected to create Anderson’s first solo album, “I’m a Rambler, I’m a Fool.” The album is a showcase of the artist’s versatility and ability. From the honest admissions in the title track, to the loving sacrifice and struggle of the working man in “Revelation”, to the ode to fallen friends and growth in “That’s Enough”, Anderson showcases his technical ability as a musician and singer as well as his human vulnerability, faults, philosophies and desires.
Part & Parcel
Part & Parcel
Part & Parcel embodies a musical mixture of many styles and backgrounds, conceived locally amidst Denver’s booming music scene. Formed in the summer of 2016, these longtime friends decided to take their shared love of string music and cultivate it into a progressive, energy-fueled passion project. Part & Parcel’s dynamic sound blends elements of funk, punk, folk, rock and bluegrass. The band’s strong focus on blending songwriting and improvisation inspires a devoted and ever-growing fan base.
John Craigie
John Craigie
Renowned for his eloquent Americana style, engaging live shows, and off-the-cuff clever observations, John Craigie carries on the legacy of classic singer-songwriters, while blazing a trail of his own.
Brad Parsons
Brad Parsons
When Brad Parsons steps out on a stage, it’s not long before he overpowers a roaring crowd. With little but his voice and an acoustic guitar, Parsons channels raucous energy into original songs that are as hopeful as they are heart-wrenching. Parsons is a Portland-based singer-songwriter with folk-rock roots extending to Idaho.
Strings and the Box
Strings and the Box
Strings and The Box started with jam sessions among friends and evolved into a passion for everyone involved. The band started when Ryan Allen (mandolin) met Dan Kamis(guitar) and started playing music with Jose Mascaro(cajon). Through a chance encounter they added Evan Hoatson(dobro) in early 2017. Soon after Marcos Garza(upright bass) and Kurt Hunsinger(banjo) started jamming after discussions at local open mics. By 2018, the six members of the band were all cooking up original songs that the band arranged together. The diverse musical backgrounds each member brings to the band creates a unique sound that seamlessly blends together. Their first EP is due in 2019.
