Born TyQuian, he chose “Quando” based off his childhood nickname “Ty-Quando”, while “Rondo” pays homage to his favorite basketball player: Rajon Rondo. At the start of 2018, his new name began circulating throughout the industry as the artist’s Instagram raps drew label attention. The single “I Remember” [feat. Lil Baby] generated over 714K Spotify streams in less than three months as The Fader pegged him as “The next big thing out of Georgia” upon the release “Paradise.”

King Tae is a Cambodian and African-American rapper, who started writing, rapping, and recording in his home in 2016. King Tae is 17 years old, mostly known for his style and his wavy flow. Born in Denver, Colorado as Jovante Keo-reed, King Tae’s journey into rapping began at a very young age due to his father’s influence. Since his freshman year of high school, he has been making music as a way for him to express his feelings. King Tae’s raps are composed from creative and natural lyric abilities that reach out to different audiences. The motto behind his raps are disregard females, and acquire currency. His songs have been viewed on ITunes, Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Soundcloud, and all other streaming platforms. King Tae’s songs GOMD and Billie Jean Sauce are featured on DJ Young Cee’s Fight Night mixtapes volumes twenty-three and twenty-five, currently on Spinrilla. King Tae performed in his first show at the Roxy Theatre hosted by Coast 2 Coast Live on November 13, 2017, receiving the second-place title. His second show was also at the Roxy Theatre, opening for Stevie Stone with Strange Music. Soon after, he opened up for Gucci Mane’s new artist, Lil Wop. In May of 2018 King Tae Opened up for Bhad Bhabie and Asian Doll on “The Bhanned In the USA” tour. In 2018 King Tae hasn’t stopped grinding, in between shows he stayed in the studio and continued to network thru Showcases (LA 2 NY Hollowood Showcase 2018) and networking events locally (AYSK showcase 2018) (LivN 2018). King Tae also put out his First Video on YouTube “Billie Jean Sauce”, off of his First Mix Tape KingTAE FTV “Late Knight” on his 17th birthday Oct 9th 2018. Most recently in Nov 2018 King Tae opened up for YNW Melly at the Roxy in Denver, CO to a a sold out show. King Tae is the future of rap with his next generation lyrical content, futuristic style, unique flow, and energetic Live Shows.
