HAVING OVER 20 YEARS OF DRUMMING/MUSIC EXPERIENCE, HE HAS MASTERED THE ART OF PROFESSIONAL DRUMMING, PERFORMING IN OVER 2000 VENUES ALL OVER THE COUNTRY AND CANADA, INCLUDING THE MADISON SQUARE GARDEN THEATER, RED ROCKS AMPHITHEATER, THE ROXY LA AND JONES BEACH THEATER. HIS NICKNAME/ STAGE NAME, MR. FUNKNASTY, GIVES A MERE GLIMPSE OF THE FUNKY HARD HITTING GROOVES THAT OOZE FROM BEHIND THE KIT.
MOLDING HIS GOSPEL ROOTS WITH STUDIES AT THE DRUMMERS COLLECTIVE IN NEW YORK CITY, HIS SKILLS EVOLVED IN TO A WELL-OILED PRODUCING AND RECORDING ARTIST. PERFECTING SUCH GENRES AS ROCK, R&B, AFRO-CUBAN, FUNK, AND HIPHOP. WINNING THE STORE FINALS IN NYC’S GUITARCENTER DRUMOFF TWO CONSECUTIVE YEARS 2006-2007, HIS NAME SPREAD AS ONE OF THE UP-AND-COMING YOUNG MUSICIANS HITTING THE NYC SCENE. HE HAS PLAYED WITH SUCH ARTISTS AS FABOLOUS, R&B ARTIST JON B, GOSPEL RECORDING ARTIST DORINDA CLARK COLE, AND A HOST OF OTHER TALENTED ARTISTS AND GROUPS.
NOW TOURING WITH HIS ROCK/FUSION BAND TAUK WHILE RECORDING HIS SOLO DEBUT ALBUM, HE BELIEVES THAT WITH THE RIGHT COMBINATION OF HARD WORK AND DISCIPLINE, ANYTHING CAN BE ACHIEVED. Sasha Brown is a guitarist and composer most-widely known for his work with Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds, a band he was in from its inception until his final show with them at Irving Plaza in New York on Nov 12, 2016. While he was with the Dirty Birds, the band released 3 full-length studio albums, an EP, and a live concert DVD/double album. He toured extensively with the band – six years on the road for 250 days a year, performing over 1000 shows in 47 states, as well as in China, Guatemala, and Canada. The band performed everywhere from Madison Square Garden to the Fillmore in San Francisco, as well on the Today Show and NPR’s Tiny Desk, and was a fixture on the festival circuit — Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, Mountain Jam, Summer Camp, and Firefly, among many others.

Michelle Sarah is a powerful singer and songwriter known for her explosive vocals, relentless creative energy, and dynamic blend of soul and funk. Born in Toronto and raised in Guyana and the United States, her musical foundation was forged in the church and is rooted in gospel-an influence that shines through during each of her performances. With her powerful voice and stunning stage presence at the forefront, Michelle Sarah has earned high praise from countless musicians and her ever-growing fan base.

After moving to Colorado in 2017, Michelle has firmly put down her roots in Denver, assembling an all-star band featuring members of Karl Denson's Tiny Universe and John Brown's Body to back her on the road. With her solo project's new lineup, the captivating songstress finds herself supported by guitarist DJ Williams (KDTU), bassist Dan Africano (John Brown's Body), keys player Eric Luba (Analog Sun), and drummer Eric Imbrosciano (Jaden Carlson Band).

Michelle has performed with many of the top acts in the live music scene today, cultivating an enviable list of collaborations with key players in the soul, funk, jam, jazz, and EDM genres. She has previously performed with members of the Grateful Dead, Tedeschi Trucks Band, The Meters, Galactic, Pretty Lights, Lettuce, The Motet, Soulive, and many more, and sat in with nationally renowned artists like Parliament-Funkadelic, Warren Haynes, Robert Randolph, and The New Mastersounds. She has also performed with at iconic venues, such as Colorado's Red Rocks Amphitheater, and sung at high-profile events including Bonnaroo, New Orleans' Jazz Fest, Jam Cruise, Gathering of the Vibes, Wanee, and others.
