WhiteWater Ramble
WhiteWater Ramble
Described as “High-Octane Rocky Mountain DanceGrass”, Whitewater Ramble (WWR) uses a simple recipe to craft it’s sound: start with bluegrass instrumentation, add drums, and finish with a boundary-less approach to grassing-up everything from disco house grooves to roots to Americana. The Colorado-bred quintet combines the elements of mandolin, fiddle, acoustic guitar, upright bass, drums and vocals to explore the musical boundaries of multiple genres and to fuel their own mixture of original music and innovative cover song interpretations. Whether playing an intimate encore, acoustic and unplugged in the crowd, or surfing on top of the upright bass, Whitewater Ramble delivers a powerful and memorable live performance.
Pickin' On Ween
Pickin' On Ween
A mutual love and appreciation of the music of WEEN inspired Denver and Boulder musicians to form PICKIN' on WEEN. Since playing its first gig a little over a year ago, PICKIN' on WEEN has played several successful and inspired shows in the Denver area. Utilizing an acoustic based, improvisational approach, P.o.W. delivers fresh, creative arrangements that are a testament to Ween's exceptional songwriting, playing selections from each of Ween's eight studio albums.

Pickin' on Ween is comprised of some of Colorado's finest players, including Matt Flaherty on guitar (Hot Soup, Matt Flaherty Band), Damon Wood on guitar (Harmonious Junk, James Brown), Chris Ramey on pedal steel (Solo, Danny Shafer), and Jim Sullivan on bass (Runaway Truck Ramp, Pickin' on Dead/Phish), as well as a revolving cast of the area's finest pickers.
