Todd Sheaffer
Todd Sheaffer
Todd's life story...is still being written... For now you know him as the erstwhile front man / singer of amazing roots grass band Railroad Earth and may remember that he also was the frontman and key member of From Good Homes. These labels do not define him however, they are only mere reference points for an artist / singer / songwriter who continually creates his best work every day!
Grant Farm
Grant Farm
From the Roadhouse Circuit to Red Rocks, Boulder, Colorado-based Cosmic Americana band Grant Farm has entertained a growing fan base on the nation’s club and festival scene since its founding in 2009 by National Flatpicking Guitar Champion Tyler Grant. Built on the fundamentals of love, family, and virtuosic musicianship, the band is a sure bet for fans of high-energy, authentic artists as diverse as Sturgill Simpson, Chris Robinson Brotherhood and Phish. Comprised of zany, creative and highly musical comrades, Grant Farm members include Grant (aka “The Champ”), Adrian “Ace” Engfer (bass and vocals), Sean “Magic” Macaulay (drums/songs) and Kevin “Money” McHugh (keyboards and vocals). Grant Farm's third full-length release, the 2016 concept album Kiss the Ground, is an archetypal study of the current state of a system that requires people to work way to hard to buy in. Meeting on the Mountain LIVE Vol.1, released Summer 2018, is a harvest of the most exceptional performances from the first ten episodes of the Meeting on the Mountain LIVE Broadcast, which Tyler and the band hosted, featuring luminary musical guests such as Bill Nershi (String Cheese Incident), Todd Sheaffer (Railroad Earth), and Andy Hall (Infamous Stringdusters). The band is working on a new studio album to be released Spring 2019, which will further explore the characters, storyline and themes of Spirit, Struggle, Empathy, and Breakthrough introduced in Kiss The Ground.
Ragged Union
Ragged Union
“Ragged Union is a powerful new group that has all the essential elements of a great band – top-notch musicians, original material, tight harmonies and blistering instrumentals!” Ken Seaman / Mid-Winter Bluegrass Festival
Ragged Union’s hard-driving bluegrass, with a tinge of the traditional and a healthy dose of the blues, has become a favorite for quite a few music lovers since their inception a few years ago. There is an intimacy and tightness surrounding the vocals, with award-winning instrumental work, a powerful rhythmic drive, and up tempo arrangements giving way to the edgy, outsider songwriting that has become an earmark of their style.
Their debut album, Hard Row to Hoe, introduces music lovers to a band whose leader, Geoff Union, moved with his wife Christina to Golden, Colorado from Austin, Texas, where they immediately dove into the Front Range bluegrass scene, from Oskar Blues to Avogadro’s Number, Cervantes Other Side, Swallow Hill, and the Golden Clear Creek Concert Series.
The band’s 2014-15 festival performances include Bluegrass on the Arkansas (Salida), The Kerrville Folk Festival (Kerrville, Texas), Mid Winter Bluegrass Festival, Groove Music and Arts Festival (Georgetown, Colorado), John Hartford Memorial Festival (Bean Blossom, IN), High Mountain Hay Fever Festival (Westcliffe, CO), Keystone Bluegrass, Avograss, and the Crested Butte Arts Fest.
